PRESEASON TRAINING
Building mileage should be a gradual process to minimize overuse injuries.
All athletes are encouraged to be running on their own by June 1, 2025.
Refer to the attached running plan for preseason training guidance.
For those who wish to work out as a group, there are two options:

REGULAR SEASON

C&S Athletic Training

Every Monday & Thursday

6:15-7:45am at Okla. Christian Univ.
Edmond Flyers Camp

June Session: 9th-12th, 16th-19th, 23rd-26th

July Session: 7th-10th, 14th-17th, 21st-24th

7:30-9am at Edmond North Track, Mitch Park, and Rankin Track
Starts Monday, July 21st

Because of the heat during this time of year, practice begins at 6:30am
-
In mid-August, practice times will move to 4:30-6:30pm
-
Practices are weekly each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
We will be meeting at several different locations this year to be sure we’re getting the best training for hills, rolling terrain,, speed, etc. The main practice location is Mitch Park in Edmond.

Essential Forms

All required forms for running with OKC Storm Cross Country must be submitted before participation.
