Cross Country Season is in Full Stride!

   The team aims to build on a successful 2023 season during which multiple Storm athletes either won, medaled, or set personal best times in every race. Our greatest achievement is exceptional team camaraderie and the joy of working out together using God-given talents that glorify Him!

PERSEVERANCE. DETERMINATION. ENDURANCE.

​   Cross country is a tough and demanding sport, requiring not only endurance but heat tolerance. Accordingly, pre-season training is a must to prepare the athlete and to minimize overuse injuries. All athletes were encouraged to be running on their own by June 1.  Refer to the attached running plan for preseason training guidance.

TRAINING TIMES & LOCATION​

Regular season began Monday, July 15th, with practices each week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday

from 4:30-6:00pm at Mitch Park in Edmond.
