Instructors will be in the water with the kids. Coach Knapp feels this is missing in swim programs and really big on physics and technique. Coach Knapp wants to give quality coaching that honors the kids' physical bodies and sets them up to be efficient and maximize potential.

We are finishing our first official Storm Swimming Season, and it was AMAZING!

Tanner O’Hair and Dyanelis Silva stepped into success in a major way at the Duncan and Harrah meets. Both meets hosted approximately three to four other teams. Although our swimmers’ times and places count only as “exhibition” status, we came in by STORM, swam fast, and shined bright!

Dyanelis Silva had four first place finishes in the 200 I.M., 100 fly, and 200 freestyle. Dyanelis is a fierce and focused competitor who swims with grace and strength, and continues to accrue victories in her club career with American Energy Swim Club.

Tanner O’Hair made his debut in Duncan, and placed top 5 in the 100 backstroke and top 10 in the 50 freestyle. He placed top ten in the 100 backstroke in the Harrah meet as well. It has been fantastic watching Tanner progress so quickly and steadily throughout this season.

8th grader, Declan Seale represented The Storm at Duncan, Harrah, and the Middle School Championship meet in Edmond. He won every event he swam, and set an “unofficial” State Record in the 100 I.M. Declan continues to shine across the state with American Energy Swim Club.

6th grade, Berek Thrash, began his swimming career this year, and shocked us all with his swimming development, incredible practice work ethic, and fearless competitive abilities. He swam at Duncan, Harrah, and the Middle School Championship in Edmond. He was able to improve his time each meet in both the 50 freestyle and 50 breaststroke and secure several top 10 finishes.

6th grade, Landon Hamilton, also began  his swimming career this year, and quickly learned all four strokes, and competed with the heart of a lion in the 50 and 100 freestyle. He showed strength, determination, and courage in each and every race. We couldn't be more proud of these kids, and look forward to our continued journeys with them through spring and summer.  Our Elementary kids have made dramatic improvements this year in their strokes, and have created the sweetest friendships and joyfully fun practices. We are planning to provide Summer League competitive opportunities for them as well.

It has been an absolute incredible adventure starting the Storm Swim Team! We have been honored to coach such wonderful kids this year, and look forward to many more successful seasons. We have picked up a number of new swimmers, and can't wait to see their future successes.
